From September 28 to 30, 2025, the Training Program for Principals of Provincial-Level Leading Agricultural Enterprises in Hunan was held in Changsha. The opening ceremony was attended and addressed by Zhu Yunwu, Member of the CPC Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The training invited industry experts from enterprises and universities to deliver specialized lectures on topics such as the agricultural economy and foreign trade export trends, technological innovation in agricultural product processing, agricultural brand building, financial empowerment industrial policy interpretation, and management of integrated agricultural projects. Holly Huang, Executive Director of Yuhu Group, and Li Junyan, Director and Senior Vice President of Yuhu Cold Chain, were invited as training instructors. Focusing on the “Dual-Circulation Smart Supply Chain for Cold Chain Ingredients,” they provided comprehensive dual-circulation solutions and shared practical experiences with Hunan’s leading agricultural enterprises.
The training was attended by the Hunan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs’ division leaders in charge, responsible officers from relevant departments, agriculture and rural bureau leaders from every city and prefecture, and the heads of the 210 newly designated provincial-level leading agribusinesses for 2024.

She emphasized that reshaping the agricultural distribution chain hinges on aligning with the trend of integrating into the unified national market, expanding distribution networks, reducing intermediate links, and ensuring reliable fulfillment and delivery capabilities to achieve quality enhancement, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement. As a representative enterprise of new quality productive forces in China’s cold chain infrastructure and an innovative anchor enterprise, Yuhu Cold Chain has established an integrated online-offline trading platform and fulfillment system. Holly Huang presented a data-driven analysis of China’s current agricultural export situation, offering an in-depth interpretation of new opportunities brought by agreements such as RCEP and the EU-China Geographical Indications Agreement. Holly highlighted key challenges faced by agricultural products entering the Hong Kong market and elaborated on Yuhu Group’s integrated cross-border supply chain solutions. Through a comprehensive online-offline service mechanism encompassing certification support, transaction facilitation, logistics fulfillment, and overseas exhibition participation, Yuhu provides end-to-end support for premium agricultural products going global. Yuhu Cold Chain initiated its investment in Hunan in 2023 with the development of the Yuhu Cold Chain (Changsha) Trading Centre. Positioned as an international cold chain food trading base in Central-South China and designated as a key provincial project, the centre is located in the core area of the Changsha Pilot Free Trade Aviation Zone. Leveraging convenient transportation networks and its strategic position within the economic region, the centre aims to “source globally to supply Hunan, and distribute Hunan’s products worldwide.” The project spans an area of approximately 266,800 square meters, with a construction area exceeding 360,000 square meters and a storage capacity of 280,000 tonnes. It has now achieved full top-out and is scheduled to be fully operational within 2026.
