Yuhu Cold Chain × Liangzhilong 2026 Global Food Ingredients Trade Festival Concludes Successfully: Connecting Global Food Supply Chains Through Going-Global Services
2026.08.17
玉湖集團

On August 16, the three-day Liangzhilong 2026 Global Food Ingredients Trade Festival and Chinese Cuisine Going Global Supply Chain Summit concluded successfully at Area B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. As a co-organizer, Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre centered its showcase on “going-global services,” bringing together park tenants, exhibitors, and international resources. By offering end-to-end support—ranging from trade consultancy to cold chain logistics—Yuhu Cold Chain is helping more Chinese food ingredients reach the global market.

Global Resources, Local Stage: Going-Global Takes Center Stage

This edition was held in conjunction with the 51st China (Guangzhou) International Franchise Exhibition (GFE). Spanning 30,000 square meters, the event gathered over 800 exhibiting brands, featured more than 20,000 food products, and attracted over 50,000 professional trade visitors, making it a benchmark annual gathering for South China’s food and catering industry.

Centering on the theme “Connecting Global Food Ingredients, Empowering Chinese Cuisine to Go Global,” the exhibition merged the Cantonese cuisine ingredients and chain franchising ecosystems to build a high-spec international trade platform. Exhibits spanned the full supply chain, including meat, aquatic products, pastries, fruits, vegetables, seasonings, and logistics services.

During the event, a series of high-level concurrent programs took place, including the Opening Ceremony, the Greater Bay Area “One City, One Banquet” Chefs’ Festival, industry forums, analytical report launches, and AI/new media cross-sector sessions—delivering deep industry insights to all participants.

At Booth L36 in Hall 9.1, Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre set up a dedicated Going-Global Integrated Service Zone. Focusing on compliance services, mainland-to-Hong Kong trade, cold chain logistics, and food exports, the zone provided tailored guidance on export pathway planning, overseas market access, and cold chain solutions. Over three days, the zone attracted strong interest, hosting consultations with more than 300 buyer delegations.

End-to-End Export Services: Empowering Food Enterprises to Expand Overseas

As Guangdong's first smart, digital cold chain warehousing and trading park covering all temperature zones for frozen and chilled products—as well as a key component of the National Backbone Cold Chain Logistics Base and part of the airport-type National Logistics Hub network—Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre possesses mature infrastructure and end-to-end service capabilities. To support enterprises going global, Yuhu Cold Chain has established four core capabilities:

  • In-Park Selection Centre: An export Product Selection Centre connecting domestic food enterprises directly with overseas demand.
  • Smart Full-Temperature Warehousing & Logistics: Advanced systems enabling full traceability, real-time visibility, and unbroken temperature control throughout transport.
  • One-Stop Service Integration: A seamless network integrating customs clearance, freight forwarding, overseas warehousing, and financial/legal solutions to cover every stage of the export lifecycle (sourcing → market procurement → cold chain transport → customs declaration & inspection → air/sea freight → settlement & tax clearance).
  • Flexible Trade Models: In addition to supporting standard export channels like 0110 (General Trade) and cross-border e-commerce models (9610, 9710, 9810), the Trading Centre introduced the 1039 Market Procurement Trade Mode with Less-Than-Container-Load (LCL) consolidation. This lower-barrier model specifically enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to export efficiently.
Positioned as an industry cluster aligned with 1039 trade policies, the Product Selection Centre focuses on traceable, high-quality ingredients. It offers SMEs a three-in-one pre-export solution: “Product Showcasing + Compliance Guidance + Customs Clearance Services,” helping compliant products connect smoothly with trade channels in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Anchoring the Going-Global Track: Building Infrastructure for Chinese Cuisine Globalisation

At the opening ceremony, Zhang Chunhua, Vice Chairman of Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre, shared key insights into the trend of Chinese catering brands expanding overseas and outlined Yuhu's strategic response.

“Chinese catering brands have transitioned from early-stage trial stores targeting overseas Chinese communities into a stage of systematic expansion supported by supply chains and standardized operations. At this stage, brand competitiveness relies less on individual store flavors and more on the stability, efficiency, and compliance of the underlying supply chain. We are not just landlords—we are strategic partners in our tenants' global expansion.”
— Zhang Chunhua, Vice Chairman of Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre

Platform Empowerment: Delivering Tangible Opportunities for Tenants

Beyond operating the service zone, Yuhu Cold Chain organized guided tours for park tenants, assigning dedicated staff to connect them with key exhibitors.

For SMEs, exhibiting independently often involves high costs and limited reach. By leveraging Yuhu Cold Chain’s resources as a co-organizer, tenants gained prominent booth exposure at lower costs while accessing the platform’s accumulated buyer network and industry resources.

“The biggest value the platform provided us at this exhibition was targeted traffic and qualified leads. As a co-organizer, Yuhu Cold Chain brought precisely matched clients directly to our booth. With the Going-Global Service Zone right next door, prospective buyers with export needs connected with us seamlessly, helping us secure multiple partnerships.”

Hu Xiaoping, Head of Guangzhou Huijuxian Supply Chain Technology Co., Ltd.

Beyond the Event: Ecosystem Empowerment for Shared Growth

While the exhibition has concluded, Yuhu Cold Chain's services continue. For Yuhu Cold Chain, the event served as both a strategic showcase and a new starting point. Moving forward, Yuhu Cold Chain will deepen its collaboration with industry platforms like Liangzhilong to convert exhibition contacts into ongoing business opportunities for tenants.

The global expansion of Chinese cuisine is a long-term journey, and upgrading the food supply chain requires persistence. From providing warehousing space to generating business opportunities and cultivating an industry ecosystem, Yuhu Cold Chain remains committed to being a reliable, long-term partner in its tenants' growth.
