On September 5, the second session of the “Yuhu Taste o’Clock • Mid-Autumn Festival Gift Welfare Order Fair” successfully concluded at the Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre. The event brought together over 60 high-quality frozen food suppliers for centralized exhibition and sales, while more than 600 merchants within the park offered nearly 10,000 products to the market. It attracted over a thousand procurement specialists from secondary/tertiary wholesale markets and the local catering industry across South China, setting a record for on-site transaction value in the event series and successfully igniting the 2025 Mid-Autumn seasonal sourcing market.

The fair featured more than 60 professional frozen product booths, organized by category and displaying a full range of goods including beef and lamb, pork and poultry, seafood, prepared frozen foods, and Mid-Autumn gift sets, which met diverse procurement needs. A number of specialty products brought by merchants attracted significant attention: Yingli Food’s exhibition of Qinghai yak meat and Ningxia Tan lamb became a focus at the event due to their distinct regional characteristics and the advantage of direct supply from the origin; Taifeng Imported Food’s giant freshwater prawns, Million Island Boatman International Trade’s gaint tiger shrimp, as well as Puyue Food’s Dalian sea cucumber and fish maw—all attracted numerous buyers seeking cost-effective options to stop for.
The event and exhibition products attracted continuous crowds, with buyers moving nonstop between booths. The thoughtful on-site processing and tasting services offered by merchants allowed attendees to experience products’ quality directly. “The flavor of these Angus beef cubes is authentic, exactly what our hotpot chain needs for a stable supply,” said a procurement manager from a catering group operated in Huadu District, who confirmed an order immediately after sampling.

The Event Site and Exhibited Products
In addition to the diverse product selection, the event also featured multiple special benefits. Upon check-in, attendees received a customized eco-friendly shopping bag, and any purchase in the park entitled them to participate in a lucky draw with a 100% winning rate, adding an element of surprise to the procurement process. Furthermore, the event offered various purchasing incentives such as no-threshold vouchers and spend-and-save discounts, effectively reducing procurement costs and encouraging quicker decision-making among buyers, thereby significantly boosting on-site transaction activity. “Yuhu Cold Chain Guangzhou Park hosts many manufacturers-at-source offering relatively accessible prices. We hope Yuhu Cold Chain will organize more such supply-demand matching events to increase visibility among downstream buyers,” expressed the manager of Xianfu Food, a merchant based in the park, highly appreciating the event.

Leveraging its professional cold chain storage logistics system and intelligent market management model, Yuhu Cold Chain has established a one-stop procurement platform for the frozen food industry. Its innovative “front-store & rear-warehouse” model enables seamless integration of product display, trading, cold chain storage, and distribution, significantly enhancing procurement efficiency. “Sourcing frozen products here is reassuring—with a comprehensive variety, sufficient inventory, and timely delivery,” commented a seasoned buyer with 20 years of experience in the frozen food wholesale industry.
Moving forward, Yuhu Cold Chain will continue to capitalize on its platform strengths by regularly organizing supply-demand matching events, further refining platform functionalities, and building an integrated frozen food industry service platform that combines trading, supply chain services, and market information. This effort aims to provide sustained support for the high-quality development of the frozen food sector.
