On October 24, the forum “Digital Drive: Building a New Engine for Smart Supply Chains,” hosted by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP) and organized by its Logistics Enterprise Evaluation Office and Digital Warehouse Sub-Committee, was held in Shenzhen. Recognized for its outstanding achievements in digital cold storage construction and financial innovation practices, Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre was awarded the titles of “Twentieth Batch Five-Star Cold Chain Logistics Enterprise” and “First Batch of Enterprise Five-Star Digital Warehouses.” Notably, it is the first cold storage facility in South China to receive the Five-Star Digital Warehouse certification.

Cui Zhongfu, Chief Economist of CFLP, delivered the opening speech at the forum. He reviewed the industry’s achievements during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period and outlined a new vision for the industry’s development in the “15th Five-Year Plan,” emphasizing that the sector is currently in a critical phase and strategic opportunity period for digital transformation. Participants engaged in in-depth exchanges and shared insights on key topics such as digital warehouses, electronic warehouse receipts, smart digital supply chains, industrial digital finance, and digital value-added services.

Wang Xiaodong, General Manager of Yuhu Cold Chain Guangzhou, represented the company at the event and shared insights into the services and practices centered around the five-star digital cold chain warehouse. He stated that the company focuses on providing smart integrated logistics services, leveraging the warehouse to achieve integrated operations and end-to-end digital visibility across the trading centre, storage, logistics, and settlement processes, while utilizing smart hardware to reduce costs and improve efficiency. The facility also supports multiple channels, including B2B and B2C, as well as diverse business models such as supply chain finance and frozen product operations. Additionally, Yuhu Cold Chain is advancing its efforts in the field of artificial intelligence, including enhancing the construction of AI infrastructure, promoting the application of AI warehouse algorithms, and implementing AI-powered customer service. Looking ahead, Yuhu Cold Chain will continue to refine the core functions and services of its digital warehouses, collaborating with partners to build a robust ecosystem for cold chain food logistics.

During the forum, the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP) and Huaxia Bank jointly announced the official launch of their co-developed supply chain financial product, “Wing Trade,” with Yuhu Cold Chain participating as a partner in the on-site signing ceremony.
Building on its existing digital achievements, Yuhu Cold Chain will continue to focus on addressing challenges in the cold chain industry and meeting the practical needs of its customers by upgrading its technical service system. With more advanced cold chain infrastructure and enhanced supply chain solutions, the company aims to accelerate the industry’s transition toward a new smart supply chain paradigm characterized by comprehensive sensing, intelligent decision-making, and interconnected ecosystems.
