On November 20, the 2025 Wuhan (Hankoubei) Commodities Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Han Fair") officially kicked off in Huangpi District under the theme "Intelligent Connectivity for the World, Trade Linking the Globe." Exhibitors, purchasers, and professional visitors from around the world gathered in Wuhan for this international economic and trade event. Huang Xiangmo, Chairman of the Board of Yuhu Group from Hong Kong, was invited to attend the opening ceremony.

Wang Zhonglin, Secretary of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee, announced the opening of the event. Jiang Yaoping, former Vice Minister of Commerce, and Sheng Yuechun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Wuhan Municipal Committee, delivered speeches respectively. Vice Governor of Hubei Province Chen Ping presided over the opening ceremony. Approximately 50 diplomatic envoys, business leaders, and experts and scholars from countries and regions including Martin Charles, Dominica's Ambassador to China; Willy Bett, Kenya's Ambassador to China; and Mate Pesti, Hungary's Ambassador to China—attended the event.
Following the opening ceremony, Huang Xiangmo accompanied Wang Zhonglin, Secretary of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee, and other leading officials on an inspection tour of the key exhibition areas in the main hall, where he briefed them on the construction, operational launch, and functioning of Yuhu Cold Chain's projects in Hubei.

The total exhibition area of this year's Han Fair reached 190,000 square meters, a record high, featuring one main exhibition area and nine market exhibition zones. It covered multiple cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, high-end manufacturing, and digital trade, comprehensively showcasing the new pattern of opening-up in central China. Yuhu Cold Chain set up a themed booth in the "Digital Logistics" section of the Han Fair's main exhibition area, displaying its achievements in global cold chain supply chains. High-quality imported ingredients such as Australian Wagyu beef, Angus beef, and Australian abalone were exhibited on-site, attracting numerous domestic and international purchasers, industry experts, and visiting citizens for inquiries, making it one of the focal points in the digital logistics sector.

Since 2021, Yuhu Cold Chain has continuously invested in the construction of an international frozen food trading center in Hubei. The Yuhu Cold Chain (Wuhan) Trading Center, a primary trading center for the Central China region, is located in Huangpi District, Wuhan. In 2023, the Yuhu Cold Chain (Xiangyang) Trading Center, a secondary trading center for Central China, was established in Fancheng District, Xiangyang. These two projects in Hubei have become important components of Yuhu Cold Chain's nationwide network of frozen food trading and fulfillment entities.
On September 27, 2025, the Yuhu Cold Chain (Wuhan) Trading Center officially commenced operations. As a key node in Yuhu Group’s Central China strategy, the project integrates functions such as wholesale cold chain trading, storage and distribution, processing, inspection and quarantine, and supply chain finance, aiming to build an international-standard, one-stop cold chain industry platform. It has been successfully selected as a National Commercial Service Logistics Hub and a National Key Cold Chain Logistics Base for Agricultural Products, signifying its important role in the national strategic layout.

Currently, the trading centre has attracted over 400 leading domestic and international cold chain food enterprises, including New Hope Liuhe, Meihao, Wan Chai Ferry, Shuanghui, and Asia Fishery Harbour, to establish their presence. It plans to introduce over a thousand food trading companies in the future, striving to set a new benchmark for the digital and intelligent transformation of the cold chain industry in Central China. The annual trading volume of frozen products is projected to reach 1 million tons, with an annual transaction value exceeding RMB 20 billion, creating thousands of jobs. This will effectively enhance Wuhan's comprehensive capabilities in agricultural product circulation efficiency, food safety assurance, and the facilitation of import and export trade, contributing to Wuhan's goal of becoming a nationally significant commercial and logistics center as well as a new inland open hub.
As a benchmark enterprise promoting the integrated development of domestic and international trade, Yuhu Cold Chain is leveraging its Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) model to integrate global resources, deeply integrate into Wuhan's high-level opening-up process, and contribute Hong Kong enterprise strength to building the new "Dual Circulation" development paradigm.
