Huang Xiangmo extended a warm welcome to Wu Guiying and her delegation for their visit, and expressed gratitude to the Party committees and governments of Hunan Province and Changsha City for their long-term strong support for the project. He focused on introducing the development achievements of Yuhu Cold Chain’s Greater China Strategy over the past five years and the specific construction progress of the Changsha project. He noted that after 25 years of development, Yuhu Group has formed a pattern of coordinated development across three major strategic business segments: cold chain assets and smart technology, fishery and agriculture investment & operation and supply chain management, and comprehensive complex development and operation. At present, Yuhu Cold Chain has laid out 9 trading centers in regions including the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Southwest China, Central China, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region. This year, four more trading centers will be newly put into operation, ushering in a new phase of interconnection and interaction among eight trading centers. Among them, the Changsha project has advanced efficiently since its launch in 2023 and has now entered the interior decoration stage. It is expected to meet the acceptance criteria in the first half of the year and achieve full-scale operation in the second half, with progress significantly ahead of the original schedule. Huang Xiangmo stated that relying on the innovative Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) business model integrating online transactions and offline delivery, Yuhu Cold Chain has built a full-chain service system that integrates domestic and international procurement on behalf of clients, smart warehousing, trunk-line logistics and distribution, and supply chain financial empowerment. This system enables full-chain visual traceability and digital management of agricultural products from the place of origin to the consumer end. After the Changsha project is put into operation, it will play an important role in promoting the transformation and upgrading of the circulation mode of agricultural products in Changsha and even the broader region through its digital and intelligent operation and a transaction performance platform with full-process temperature control and traceability.
