On March 27, Zhang Tao, Director of the Sichuan Provincial Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, led a delegation on a field visit to key Sichuan–Hong Kong cooperation sites in Chengdu, with the aim of strengthening practical cooperation ties between the two regions and advancing deeper exchanges across trade, port logistics, science and education, and youth affairs.

The delegation visited two sites: Yuhu Cold Chain (Chengdu) Trading Centre in Qingbaijiang District, and Sichuan Changjiang Vocational College. At Yuhu Cold Chain (Chengdu) Trading Centre, the delegation toured the cold chain logistics operations on-site, gaining a detailed understanding of how the enterprise leverages its proximity to the international railway port hub to build an end-to-end cold chain service system and facilitate the overseas expansion of Sichuan's signature food products. The delegation also examined the practical outcomes of Hong Kong-invested anchor enterprise in advancing Sichuan–Hong Kong port and logistics cooperation. At Sichuan Changjiang Vocational College, the delegation visited the Sichuan–Hong Kong–Macao Youth Exchange Base on campus, met with representatives of Hong Kong and Macao youth based in Sichuan, and received a comprehensive briefing on the operational model, incubation outcomes, and exchange activities of the province's first Hong Kong youth incubator.

Director Zhang Tao noted that Yuhu Cold Chain (Chengdu) Trading Centre and Sichuan Changjiang Vocational College serve as important vehicles for Sichuan–Hong Kong cooperation and play a meaningful role in promoting exchanges between the two regions. He indicated that the Sichuan Provincial Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office will continue to fulfil its coordinating role in Hong Kong and Macao affairs across the province, strengthen the institutional framework for Sichuan–Hong Kong cooperation, further consolidate cooperation ties, and precisely align collaboration needs in areas such as trade logistics and youth entrepreneurship and innovation, so as to advance multi-sector practical cooperation between Sichuan and Hong Kong in a substantive and enduring manner.
Li Hui, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, along with heads of relevant divisions, and Wang Lin, Secretary of the Qingbaijiang District Committee of the Communist Party of China, together with other officials, participated in the field visit.
