On April 16, the 10th China International Logistics Development Conference and 2026 Nanjing High-Quality Logistics Development Conference was held in Nanjing under the theme "Logistics Connecting Dual Circulation, Hubs Empowering New Openness." Liu Xiaotao, Jiangsu Governor, attended and delivered a keynote address. Zhou Hongbo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the CPC, gave a welcome speech. Remarks were also delivered by Yang Shengshi, President of the China Communications and Transportation Association; Wan Min, Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Group; and Liu Jingzhen, Chairman of China Logistics Group.

Governor Liu Xiaotao noted that Jiangsu is both an economic and logistics powerhouse. In recent years, the province has focused on building a modern logistics system, continuously driving down costs while improving quality and efficiency, and accelerating the development of a two-way open hub with global aggregation power. He emphasized that Jiangsu will anchor its sights on becoming a logistics-strong province and pursue a five-dimensional leap—deeper integration with industry, advancement up the value chain, AI-powered cost reduction and efficiency gains, green and low-carbon logistics development, and the cultivation of new quality productive forces in the logistics sector. He invited all parties to treat Jiangsu as a strategic anchor for their national footprint and global connectivity, pledging the best possible business environment and services.
The conference brought together representatives from national ministries and local government agencies, leading domestic and international logistics enterprises, and industry associations to explore new pathways for high-quality logistics development. Huang Xiangmo, Chairman of Yuhu Group Hong Kong; Wang Wei, Chairman of S.F. Holding; Yu Weijiao, Chairman of YTO Express; and international logistics expert Dorothy Chan Yuen Tak Fai each delivered speeches on topics including digital empowerment, logistics chain strengthening, and multi-port coordination. In his address, Huang Xiangmo shared Yuhu Group's innovation practices and strategic vision in cold chain logistics, centering on deep integration of "AI + logistics" as the engine for building a new benchmark in China's cold chain industry—drawing wide interest from attendees.

Deepening the Greater China Cold Chain Strategy: Nine Hubs Serving 800 Million People
Huang Xiangmo introduced Yuhu Group Hong Kong as a diversified multinational investment enterprise with 26 years of history. Since launching its "Yuhu Cold Chain Greater China Strategy" in 2020, the Group has developed nine trading centres complexes in key cities across the country, including Nanjing, with total cold storage capacity exceeding 2.6 million metric tons and a total floor area of over 3.5 million square meters—committed to delivering safer, higher-quality food to 800 million people.
"Yuhu Cold Chain is not simply building a network of international-standard cold storage facilities—we are building a digitally intelligent international trading platform," Huang Xiangmo said. Underpinned by an AI-driven Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) model, Yuhu Cold Chain has achieved full digital coverage across warehousing and distribution, supply chain finance, and customer transaction management. Through precise data intelligence, the platform enables premium international food products to reach China more efficiently, while helping domestic products go global.

Upholding International Standards for Food Safety: Active Participation in ISO Standard Development
Cold chain logistics is a critical link in safeguarding food quality and safety. Huang Xiangmo emphasized that Yuhu Cold Chain maintains international standards across the entire food circulation process—from building high-specification cold storage to integrated warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment management. Every product handled through Yuhu Cold Chain's network is fully traceable, effectively protecting cold chain food safety and helping close the gap with cold chain practices in developed economies.
Notably, Yuhu Cold Chain has leveraged its multinational talent advantage to take an active role in developing ISO international standards. Over the past three years, it has contributed to the publication of three international standards in cold chain logistics—marking a milestone in which China's cold chain practices have been codified into internationally recognized norms, and earning China a stronger voice in the global cold chain arena.
Deepening Roots in Nanjing's "Five-Type" Hub: Building a Yangtze River Delta International Food Trading Base
Huang Xiangmo noted that Nanjing is the only city in East China designated as a "Five-Type" National Logistics Hub, with the unique advantage of integrating five hub types: airport, river port, rail port, road port, and information hub. Yuhu Group will seize the development opportunities of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, continue to play its role as an anchor enterprise and chain leader, deepen the integration of technology and industry, expand AI application scenarios, and provide end-to-end services for cross-border e-commerce and import/export trade—driving upstream and downstream enterprises to cluster in Nanjing.
"We will spare no effort to develop the Yuhu Cold Chain Nanjing project into a core international food trading hub rooted in the Yangtze River Delta and radiating nationwide," said Huang Xiangmo. As a technology-driven company committed to patient capital, Yuhu Group is ready to work alongside peers across the industry, actively respond to Nanjing's call for high-quality logistics development, and help Nanjing grow into a globally significant logistics hub city.

During the conference, Jiangsu Province released the Measures to Support the High-Quality Development of Nanjing Lukou International Airport and the Measures to Support Nanjing in Building a Regional Shipping and Logistics Centre at a High Standard and Promoting High-Quality Development of Shipping across the Province. Nanjing simultaneously issued ten measures to promote logistics development, and a series of key projects were signed on site.
Yuhu Cold Chain (Nanjing) Trading Centre, designated as a "Land Port-Type National Logistics Hub" project and a "dual-use for normal and emergency operations" public infrastructure project in Nanjing, has achieved remarkable progress since signing in February 2025: in just eight months, it completed signing, land acquisition, and construction commencement in the same year—a pace that has been hailed as "Nanjing Speed." The project's main structure is on track to top out within the year, with operations expected to commence by end-2027.
From the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area to the Yangtze River Delta, from Southwest China to the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, Yuhu Cold Chain's national network is taking shape at pace. Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Yuhu Group will continue on a dual-engine strategy of heavy-asset infrastructure and digital-intelligent platforms, building a three-tier national commodity distribution network that connects the origin-to-hub-to-market trading chain—ensuring that premium food products from around the world reach every endpoint with speed and efficiency.
