On the morning of July 31, Jieyang City held an on-site meeting in Jiedong District to showcase the initial results of its three-year “Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand” Project, which focuses on village improvement and rural living environment upgrades. Zeng Fengbao, Secretary of the Jieyang Municipal Party Committee, together with other attendees, visited the Yuhu Cold Chain (Jieyang) Trading Centre and the Jieyang International Agricultural Products Trading Centre project to inspect construction progress, learn about the trial operation of the vegetable section, and discuss future business plans. They also exchanged comments and shared insights on-site.

At the meeting, Lin Shiwei, Member of the Standing Committee of Jiedong District Party Committee and Executive Deputy District Head, introduced the development of the Yuhu Cold Chain Jieyang Park to Zeng Fengbao and his delegation. Lin stated that as a key project at both provincial and municipal levels, this initiative is not only an important means of promoting the integrated development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, but also a crucial part of ensuring the effectiveness of the “Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand” Project. Once fully completed and operational, the project will leverage the advantages of an integrated OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) business model for cold chain food trading, working closely with local government and industry partners to build a smart supply chain community.Lin further explained that the park will “strengthen the primary industry” by promoting local specialty agriculture and improving the connection between production and sales; “connect the secondary industry” by focusing on the prepared food sector to form an industry cluster; and “boost the tertiary industry” by accelerating integration into the dual circulation economy to unlock consumer potential. With international-standard, digitalized cold chain infrastructure capable of storing 65,000 tons, the park will not only help local specialties such as Chaoshan beef balls and Putian bamboo shoots reach wider markets, but also introduce premium ingredients from Australia, New Zealand, and other countries, offering more diverse high-quality choices for local dining tables. Once fully operational, the project is expected to foster collaboration among nearly a thousand upstream and downstream enterprises, further advancing rural revitalization, increasing farmers’ incomes, and enhancing the regional economy and people’s livelihoods.

At the meeting, leading Party officials from Jieyang’s counties, cities, and districts, as well as heads of relevant departments, shared their experiences and insights, building consensus and clarifying key priorities through mutual learning and exchange.
Zeng Fengbao commented that the various departments and levels in Jiedong District have demonstrated clear understanding, well-defined strategies, earnest attitudes, and notable achievements in advancing the “Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand” Project. He emphasized the need to stay focused on implementation, using the project as the overarching framework, concentrating on key nodes and core projects to further accelerate progress and breakthroughs. Zeng also highlighted the importance of mobilizing the entire community, promoting industrial development, environmental improvement, village appearance enhancement, and rural governance in an integrated manner, with county, township, and village working together to drive the project to new heights.
Also present at the meeting were members of the CPC Jieyang Municipal Committee Standing Committee, leading officials from the Jieyang Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee and the Jieyang Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, along with vice mayors.
