On September 23, the 2025 Nanjing Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair opened with the attendance of Xu Kunlin, Governor of Jiangsu Province. Zhou Hongbo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee, and José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Chairman of the Europe-China Economic Cooperation and Development Council and former Prime Minister of Spain, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Guo Limin, President of Yuhu Group (Hong Kong), attended the event and engaged in in-depth discussions with Nanjing municipal government officials, industry experts, and enterprise representatives on new pathways and opportunities for the development of the modern cold chain logistics industry under the new “dual-circulation” development pattern.

The Nanjing Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair is the city’s longest-running, largest, and most influential comprehensive economic and trade exchange event. In his speech, Zhou Hongbo emphasized that Nanjing is fully implementing the key directives for Jiangsu’s development, focusing on the “Four Key Priorities” for a major economic province to play a pivotal role. The city is committed to building itself into an innovation hub, an industrial leader, an open gateway, a culturally vibrant metropolis, and an international tourism destination. These efforts aim to provide global enterprises and talent with a superior platform for investment and entrepreneurship, fostering a more dynamic ecosystem in Nanjing.
In February of this year, Yuhu Group Hong Kong signed an investment agreement with the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone to initiate the Yuhu Cold Chain (Nanjing) Trading Centre project, successfully securing the land use rights on July 30. The project is located south of Xingang Road and east of two major bridges and two key transport corridors in the Nanjing Economic Development Zone and has been selected as a public infrastructure project for both emergency and regular use.
Yuhu Cold Chain (Nanjing) Trading Centre aims to establish itself as an intelligent cold chain ecosystem by leveraging Nanjing's unique advantages as a transportation hub. The project will develop a comprehensive cold chain industrial park integrating multiple functions including cold chain trading, storage and logistics, processing services, trade settlement, and exhibition sales. By utilizing an intelligent cold chain supply chain management system coupled with an advanced product traceability mechanism, the centre will achieve end-to-end visual monitoring from source to destination, ensuring food quality and safety. Capitalizing on Nanjing’s strategic position to serve the vast East China market, the Yuhu Cold Chain (Nanjing) Trading Centre will effectively integrate upstream and downstream resources, drive the upgrade of regional cold chain supply chain industries, and support Nanjing’s development as a national-level logistics hub, thereby injecting new momentum into regional economic growth.
