From September 22 to 24, the 2025 Well-known Chinese and Foreign Enterprises’ Sichuan Tour, organized by the People’s Government of Sichuan Province, was held in Chengdu. Under the theme “Building an Industrial Ecosystem Together, Winning a High-Quality Future,” the event emphasized scientific innovation and industrial development, actively supporting the “15+N” key industries in strengthening ecosystem collaboration and enhancing quality and upgrading, thereby contributing to Sichuan’s high-quality development through high-standard investment promotion. Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress, attended and delivered a speech, while Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Governor of Sichuan Province, presided over the event. Zhong Huihong, Director and President of Yuhu Cold Chain, attended the activity and the Investment in Sichuan Symposium for Well-known Enterprises. During the symposium, he engaged in in-depth discussions with participants on regional economic development trends, the business environment, and government policy support, exploring opportunities for investment and cooperation.

In his speech, Wang Xiaohui, on behalf of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Provincial Government, extended a welcome to all distinguished guests attending the event and expressed gratitude to individuals from various sectors who have long supported Sichuan’s development. He stated that today’s Sichuan is vibrant and brimming with boundless opportunities, having become the most attractive investment destination in western China, offering vast space for Chinese and foreign enterprises to invest and develop in the province. He emphasized Sichuan’s commitment to deepening open cooperation with all parties to jointly explore domestic and international markets. Wang called on everyone to actively integrate into the national unified market and establish closer economic and trade ties with countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. He particularly highlighted the importance of vigorously developing new business forms such as cross-border e-commerce and bonded logistics to continuously enhance the level of the open economy.

Sichuan has identified the modern logistics industry as one of its “15+N” key industrial chains, with the core objective of reducing costs and improving efficiency. The province is building a “3+10+N” three-dimensional layout to accelerate its competitiveness into the top tier of national logistics. Since initiating its investment in Sichuan in 2021, Yuhu Group Hong Kong has seen its Yuhu Cold Chain (Chengdu) Trading Centre and Yuhu Cold Chain (Meishan) Trading Centre designated as provincial key projects. Among them, the Yuhu Cold Chain (Chengdu) Trading Centre, as part of Chengdu’s “National Backbone Cold Chain Logistics Base,” commenced operations at the end of 2024. By establishing an international food ingredient supply chain base and leveraging its role as an “anchor enterprise” to drive industrial agglomeration, the centre has digitally empowered thousands of park merchants and buyers, facilitated over ten thousand procurement-sales matchmaking events, and effectively enhanced the influence of the Sichuan-Chongqing region and western China in the global food market.
Yuhu Cold Chain (Meishan) Trading Centre is located in Meishan Tianfu New Area, designed to complement, carry on, and support the regional hub in Chengdu, with full operations scheduled for 2026. The project is planned to encompass trading and supporting services for a full range of fruit categories. It is positioned as a benchmark fruit-specialized park serving Southwest China, radiating to Northwest China, and connecting with Southeast Asia, facilitating the export of Sichuan fruits and the import of Southeast Asian fruits, thereby driving the development of new quality productive forces and rural revitalization.
Looking ahead, Yuhu Cold Chain will continue to deepen its roots in Sichuan. Leveraging the two trading centres in Chengdu and Meishan as pivotal anchors, the company will intensify cooperation with domestic and international enterprises while strengthening its digital and supply chain service capabilities. This strategy aims to further activate the regional cold chain industry and support Sichuan’s goal of establishing itself as a premier cold chain logistics hub in Western China.
