Guo Limin, President of Yuhu Group (Hong Kong), attended at the organisers' invitation. He joined Nanjing municipal government leaders, industry experts, and business representatives in discussions on new pathways and partnership opportunities for the high-quality development of modern cold chain logistics as Nanjing builds a two-way opening-up hub.

Now in its 37th edition, this year's fair took the theme “Building a Two-Way Opening-Up Hub with Global Convergence Power.” It centred on three priorities: high-standard opening up, high-quality global expansion, and premium consumption. The fair showcased Nanjing's progress in five areas: cultivating new quality productive forces, strengthening and extending industrial chains, attracting foreign investment, helping local companies go global, and continuously improving its business environment.
In his remarks, Zhou Hongbo said that Nanjing is fully implementing the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches on Jiangsu's work. He said the city is serving and integrating into major national development strategies and further amplifying its comparative advantages. By strengthening its innovation chain, expanding its opening-up chain, and extending its service chain as one integrated effort, Nanjing is accelerating high-quality development.

In February 2025, Yuhu Group (Hong Kong) signed an investment agreement with the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone to launch the Yuhu Cold Chain (Nanjing) Trading Centre. The Group acquired the land on 30 July and broke ground in October, only eight months after signing. Signing, land acquisition, and groundbreaking all took place within the same year, a pace now known as “Nanjing Speed.”
The project is positioned as an end-to-end cold chain food service hub for the Yangtze River Delta and as an urban supply security base. It is a national landmark foreign-funded project and a provincial and municipal key project, and partial topping out has been completed. The project's Lease & BD Centre opened in July 2026. Since then, established companies and industry leaders from the Yangtze River Delta and across China have made field visits to the site. Several hundred companies have already confirmed their intention to partner with the project, and interest continues to grow.
Nanjing enjoys distinct locational advantages as a megacity at the heart of the Yangtze River Delta. Building on these advantages, the Yuhu Cold Chain (Nanjing) Trading Centre will serve as an anchor enterprise. It will develop an international cold chain logistics service hub for the region and fill the gap in high-end cold chain infrastructure. The Centre will also deepen the integration of technology and industry and expand AI applications, using “AI + logistics” to set a new benchmark for China's cold chain sector.
